Tasmanian Restoration Solutions provides restoration services, specialising in comprehensive contents and building restoration. We combine people (you!), processes, and technology to deliver fast and successful restoration results for emergency situations.

The Role:

In this varied position, you will use your practical skills to restorate properties that have been damaged by incidents such as fire, flood or vandalism.

As a member of our team you will help us get the damaged property back into shape by stripping out properties, or cleaning, deodorizing, and restoring internal contents – so the property can be returned to its use asap. All jobs are different so there is variety in the work everyday.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely clear away damage from water, fire or other sorts of incidents
• Set up equipment and monitor progress / repair
• Keep records of activities and use Ipads for reporting
• Perform some minor building repair work
• Liaise with Project Manager and others in the team to coordinate duties
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Transportation of inventory and equipment
• Prepare damage assessment, reports and inventory lists
• Rolling on-call roster, including after-hours shifts
• Provide professional updates to clients

Key Selection Criteria:

• Experience in trades environment or cleaning services highly regarded
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Proactive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Previous hands-on experience with tools and/or trades equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Capable of managing competing priorities
• Attention to detail
• Physical fitness
• National Police Check & Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
• Current Drivers license essential
• Basic IT skills
