Our family owned company has major plans for growth and we are looking for a motivated and organised Office Administrator to join our dynamic team, to grow with our business and help us maintain our high standards of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As the Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our team. You will be responsible for administrative functions, staff inductions, managing office supplies, facilitating communication between departments and supporting the management team on various projects. The ideal candidate will be organised, efficient, and capable of handling multiple tasks with a positive attitude.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain an accurate administration and filing system to ensure all files are accurate and available
  • Client liaison to support customer satisfaction
  • Screening of phone calls and accurate redirection
  • Support of Management team
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • General administrative duties to support management team
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new staff and maintaining employee records.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Experience with business accounting software package(s)
  • Customer service oriented approach
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Positive and friendly outlook
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in business administration or related field.
  • Experience with office management software such as MS Office and ERP systems.
