About the Role

As a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you’ll focus on assessment and consultation, supporting children aged 2 to 12 years. Your expertise will guide therapy plans and empower parents and our therapy team. This is a flexible, hub-based role with no travel required, ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality assessments while fostering collaboration.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments tailored to children’s individual needs, covering areas such as sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and school readiness.
  2. Develop therapy plans and collaborate with families to align with their goals and priorities.
  3. Review and refine therapy plans quarterly with our team to ensure they remain effective.
  4. Provide one-on-one and group parent coaching sessions to empower families in achieving therapy goals.
  5. Support and train our team of speech pathologists and therapy assistants to deliver exceptional interventions.

About You

You’re a motivated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of paediatric OT experience, with expertise in assessments and therapy planning.
  2. Knowledge of the NDIS framework and its application in therapy services.
  3. A love for working with children, engaging them through play to unlock their potential.
  4. Confidence in coaching parents and a passion for empowering families.
  5. A strong ability to develop and clearly communicate effective therapy plans.
  6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration, and eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
